From Brokenness to Marvelous” is based on the life of Marissa Laverne Daniel. She was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who left home at the age of 19 to attend Clark Atlanta University (CAU) in Atlanta, Georgia.

In this powerful book, Ms. Daniel shares the difficulties she endured in her childhood and the broken, traumatic, and devastating moments she faced in college, after college and as a young adult. “From Brokenness to Marvelous” will help women of all ages learn how to overcome bullying, rejection, heart break, abortion, and how to love themselves. Ms. Daniel emphasized in this book how it was nothing but God’s grace and mercy that helped her blossom from a broken little girl into the marvelous, woman of God she is today.

She recognized important people in her life, who she refers to as ‘angels’, that have helped her along her journey of self-love, as well as those people who sowed good seed into her life. Get ready and buckle your seat belt because this small book is filled with wisdom, scriptures that can help you along your journey, life lessons, and an emotional roller coaster ride that had Ms. Daniel crying and screaming her heart out to God in the midst of so much pain, guilt, and shame. She was once broken, but now she is beautiful and to God be the Glory and Honor for that!

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalms 34:18)
