Marissa Laverne Daniel was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After graduating from Milwaukee School of Entrepreneurship (2007) she attended Carroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin however she always wanted to attend a Historical Black College. She took a leap of faith and applied to CAU as a transfer student and luckily she was accepted on her 19th birthday in May 2008. Her most memorable moment at CAU is when she interviewed WSB’s TV retired news anchor Monica Pearson in front of a live studio audience during her senior year. Throughout her matriculation at CAU, Ms. Daniel faced many challenges and financial hardships. However, through constant prayer and with the help of her family, friends, and mentors she walked across the stage with tears of Joy on May 21, 2012. According to Ms. Daniel,
“If it wasn’t for GOD I wouldn’t never walked across that stage.”
Upon graduation, Ms. Daniel has worked with several companies as a Leasing Professional in Property Management. She currently works at one of the top companies to work for here in Atlanta, GA. She is the top Leasing Professional/Leasing Trainer and an Ambassador for Fogelman Management Group in Roswell, GA. She is also a devoted and faithful member of Beyond the Veil Ministries in Fayetteville, GA. She is the President of Invested Women Ministries and she goes on WATC TV 57 every month and gives the announcements and encourages people to call in for Prayer and for people to give their lives to Christ.
Ms. Daniel always had a passion for television and one of her heart desires is to be a Talk Show Host. She once thought her dreams were dead after college when she had a difficult time landing a job in television. Through constant prayer and her faithfulness to GOD he answered her prayer and blessed her with her own show at WATC TV 57 in Norcross, Georgia.
She believes in utilizing your gifts to give GOD the glory. Her show, Broken into Beautiful, is a testimonial show allowing people to come on her show and share their testimonies and giving GOD all the glory. Marissa believes that everyone walking on this earth is a Rose. Sometimes the Rose can be blossoming and there are the moments when the rose is weak and feels like dying but with GOD’s word he can make that rose that was once broken and blossom it to becoming beautiful again. Marissa considers herself Broken into Beautiful.
“I thank God for bringing me this far and he gets all the glory. Regardless of what I been through and the mistakes I made I am still precious in his eyes and his thoughts about me are priceless.”
